[tps_header]Martial Arts is one of the most disciplined and intense practices out there. It not only teaches mental and physical strength, but it also allows you to develop confidence and become the person you always wanted to be.
I started practicing Martial Arts when I was 13 years old and received my first black belt in Shotokan when I was 16 years old – one of the youngest women in France at the time. I received my second black belt in Tang Soo Do when I was practicing in Los Angeles under Master Donvito. The practice of Martial Arts has positively affected my physical and mental health; mentally, I have become more confident, and have noticed myself becoming more calm and controlled. Physically, it has helped me lose weight while developing lean muscle and strength as well. It has also improved my reflexes and taught me a level of self-defense that no other workout has been able to match.
Martial Arts set the groundwork to my career as a certified personal trainer and is something I use in my daily life – whether it is in my workout routine or in my confidence and self-worth! Read below for a few of my favourite moves.[/tps_header]
