It’s no secret that I love being outside, so hiking is a perfect form of exercise for me. There are so many different types of trails to explore – many right in my own local area! I’ve done little exploratory hikes that take me in and out of ravines, hiked up a fire road near my house that’s great for running, and one of my favourites is a mountain hike in Malibu. Valentine’s Day has always been a special day for my family as it’s my parents’ anniversary. When I was younger, my brothers and I would wake up to fun gift baskets filled with token items such as heart paperweights and books about love. But more importantly, we would always have a group discussion about how we feel loved and cherished – the day was a celebration of love.
