Take a wide overhand grip on a bar, lift your feet off the floor so that you are hanging, with all your weight in your hands.
Exhale and pull your body up towards the bar; if possible try and touch your chest on the bar.
Inhale and lower yourself to starting position without putting your feel back on the floor.
Repeat for the recommended number of repetitions.
